Li Samadhi is a counselling astrologer based on Salt Spring Island, the traditional lands of the Hul'qumi'num and SENĆOŦEN-speaking peoples.

Li holds a deep reverence for the sky and the cycles that move through it. She has been immersed in the study and practice of astrology for many years, working with it as a tool for self-reflection, integration, guidance, and wholeness.

Her approach is rooted in Hellenistic and archetypal astrology, which she understands as a divinatory science. This approach helps illuminate the patterns of a life as they unfold in time. She works with Whole Sign Houses and a geocentric, tropical zodiac to read the movements of the celestial bodies and how they shape both individual lives and collective experience.

Li’s astrological education has been shaped by teachers including Kelly Surtees, Demetra George, Chris Brennan, Adam Elenbaas, and Chani Nicholas, alongside the many astrologers, authors, and traditions that continue to inform her work.

At the heart of her practice is a belief that astrology can support a deeper acceptance of fate or karma, while also clarifying where choice and agency live. She experiences the sky as a mirror of the earth, a living relationship that offers perspective, meaning, and support. And, she approaches her work with ongoing gratitude for that relationship.
